INDEPENDENCE BOWL - DEC. 15TH, 1984

  This was our 2nd bowl game and wow what a contrast to the Sugar. We paid $10 for tickets, $3 for a program, and pay a $5 cover to attend an "All the beer you can drink" party after the game. Bruce Smith of Virginia Tech goes on to a Hall of Fame NFL career, but his Hokies were no match for the Air Force Falcons!
